Highlights from the "Friends"

Recent progress on projects include construction of community fire pit. A grant was received for the installation of a community fire pit that will be located to the south of the Nature Center across from the Amphitheater. We applied for and received $300.00 from The Ohio State Parks Legacy Foundation. This money along with monies raised from our 2007 5K Run/Walk will be used to fund this project. The fire pit will be completed for the 2008 camping season. Also, the initial phase of the disc golf course has been completed and there is a tournament scheduled for Spring 2008.
