About East Harbor State Park
East Harbor State Park opened in 1947 and today is one of Ohio's most popular vacation spots. Over ten miles of hiking trails, sandy beaches, fishing access, picnic shelters, the largest campground in Ohio State Park System. Funded by the State of Ohio, East Harbor has limited resources for growth and development. The Friends of East Harbor was formed to raise funds for special projects at OUR PARK. We seek to assist East Harbor in reaching its full "year 'round" potential for the enjoyment of all.
